The building works for Cobaw Community Health’s new Healthy Community Access Hub in Kyneton are progressing well with much development having taken place over the past eight weeks. Located at 1 Caroline Chisholm Drive, adjacent to Kyneton District Health, the new site will provide a purpose built centre for the community to access a range of health and wellbeing services and meeting spaces for the community, in a brilliantly designed building. The building will enable an increased range of services for everyone and bring together services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, speech pathology, counselling, housing support and family services. The Healthy Community Access Hub is due to be completed by May 2020 and will also have a number of visiting and co-located services. Cobaw’s agency for Centrelink and Medicare will also move into the new site.
Community members have the opportunity to view the plans for the building, see the architectural design images and have a look at some of the materials that will be used in the construction of the new facility.
