Volunteering offers people the opportunity to share and develop their skills and contribute to their local community. Volunteers receive support and relevant training, and play an important role in the work of the organisation.
Cobaw has volunteer opportunities in the following program areas:
- Social Support & Respite – offers planned activities, social support and respite for people who are frail aged or have a disability
- Parent Buddies Program – linking volunteer home visitors with families with young children
- L2P Learner Driver Program – supports young people to obtain their drivers licence through the support of a trained volunteer mentor.
For further information, please contact Cobaw Reception on 03 5421 1666 or click here to send an email enquiry.
Cobaw acknowledges and thanks all volunteers for the vital contribution they make to programs and operations. Cobaw regards volunteerism as a valuable resource to our community and encourages residents in the Shire to talk with us about the different ways you may contribute.
