Fast access – full fee allied health services
To complement our range of Victorian Government subsidised services, we offer a range of full-fee allied health services from our locations in Kyneton, Romsey and Woodend. We can also provide some of these services to you in your own home and other community settings.
Services for adults:
- Occupational Therapy.
Services for children and adolescents:
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Pathology
- Psychology & Counselling
- Multi-Disciplinary Assessments.
The full-fee services enable people to choose where they receive the health care they need.
More than half of all Australians are now covered by some level of private health insurance. At the same time more people are being given individual control over how they spend their public health dollars. This means we can offer more choice in how you can access these services locally. When clients use these services, the full cost of treatment is paid at the time of the service and is often with the assistance of their private health insurance or an individual government funding stream.
These services are in addition to our existing services and we will continue to offer community health services. There will now be additional allied health services available and clients will be able to choose to access treatment more quickly through this full-fee service.
The fees charged by this new service will be competitive with those charged by other providers in the local area, and if you are covered by private health insurance or an individual government funding arrangement, such as the MBS or Helping Children with Autism Program, your out of pocket expenses will be directly comparable to our community health fees.
