Invitation to dementia community forum

Do you care for someone with dementia?  We invite you to a community forum to hear the findings of a project that was carried out locally.  Verily Connect aimed to provide support for carers via an online community.  La Trobe University will present the results and are keen to get contributions from carers around where the project goes to from here. Homelessness Week 2019

During Homelessness Week (4 to 10 August), Cobaw is focussing on local community needs around those who are, or who are at risk of becoming homeless.  To raise awareness of the issues we invite you to share a free lunch of soup and bread.  Entertainment will be provided by the Cobaw Ukulele Players and the With One Voice Central Victoria Choir. If you are thinking about registering your child for a kindergarten program in 2020, come along to Macedon Ranges Shire Council’s information session for an overview of what kindergarten is about, what your child will experience when they attend and how the centres are run. Specialist Trans and Gender Diverse Training for Healthcare Professionals

Cobaw Community Health (Cobaw) in conjunction with Zoe Belle Gender Collective, is offering a two hour inclusive practice training session for healthcare professionals. Aimed at GPs, nurses, psychologists, allied health professionals and anyone who works in a healthcare setting, the training examines best practice in trans and gender diverse health.
